After serving his country as a Marine, Jim Spagg pushed free speech limits by broadcasting television shows on local public access channels. He danced naked, pooped, masturbated--all in front of the camera direct to Portland, Ore., living rooms. For 11 years Spagg hosted several TV programs having no central premise other than showing him and friends naked--until his death in May 2004. Christian Terrorist Eric Rudolph
Eric Robert Rudolph is a suspect in the July 27, 1996, Centennial Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta, Georgia, which killed one and wounded 111 others. He is also charged with bombing an abortion clinic in Birmingham, Ala., on Jan. 16, 1997, killing two; and with two bombings at abortion clinics north of Atlanta, on Jan. 29, 1998; and setting two bombs at the Otherside Lounge (a lesbian bar) in Atlanta, on Feb. 21, 1997.
On May 5, 1998, he became one of the FBI 10 most wanted fugitives. He spent more than five years in the Appalachian wilderness as a fugitive and was arrested in Murphy, N.C, on May 31, 2003. He has since pleaded guilty and is serving a life sentence without parole.

Politically incorrect voters of White Settlement, Texas
(November 2005)
In the 1840s, a village of white Texas pioneers sprang up amid several American Indian encampments. Its name, White Settlement, seemed fitting at the time. Now, however, some city leaders argue the name is misleading and politically incorrect, hindering economic development in this 15,000-resident suburb of Fort Worth. On Nov. 9, voters decided whether to adopt a new name, West Settlement. In a record turnout, 90 percent of the voters were against the name change: 2,388 voted to keep their town White Settlement while only 219 voted to change it.Click on photo for news story.
